Ishaqiyya Tahfiz Al-Qur’an College is a distinguished institution functioning under Hazrat Sheikh Ishaq (RA) Academy and managed by the Muttumthala Muslim Jama’ath Committee, Kasaragod, Kerala. We admit students from the age of 11 and provide a structured Qur’an memorization (Hifz) program with proper Tajweed, along with formal education up to SSLC level. Our system integrates spiritual growth, discipline, moral values, and academic excellence to build a well-balanced generation.

Muttunthala Mahal – A Legacy of Faith and Education

Muttunthala is a well-known mahal (local Muslim community) located in the Kanhangad area of Kasaragod district. The Muttunthala Mahal Juma‘ath, where Shaykh Hazrat Ishaq Valiyullahi (RA) rests in eternal peace, manages and runs various educational institutions.
Alongside Darul Uloom Madrasa, Al Bir Islamic Pre-School, and Muttunthala A.L.P School, the Ishaqiyya Tahfeezul Qur’an College—an institution dedicated to the memorization of the Holy Qur’an—also functions commendably under the mahal.
In addition, efforts are underway to introduce a Dars (advanced religious study system) under the Jama‘ath committee, aiming to nurture scholars (‘ulama) who can understand and respond to the challenges of the times.
Through its educational, social, and cultural initiatives, the Muttunthala Jama‘ath Committee stands as an active and exemplary model for other mahals.
